Did you know that we have a leadership and service learning program for students in grades 5-7?
Emily Davey is the on-site advisor for Esko Leads.
Esko Leads is a group that strives to inspire and educate teens to discover the leader within themselves. In this group, students will work together to find out who they are and what they can achieve, now and in the future. Our priority as a group is to work with local citizens and organizations to benefit our schools, homes and communities through service learning.
Join us in sharing this brave vision and helping Esko become a better place to raise your children and grandchildren in the 21st century and beyond. Please consider how you or your organization may become involved.
Some projects we worked on in 2023-24:
We spread kindness and happiness around school with inspirational chalk messages, signs and an elementary Kindness campaign.
We held a food drive for the Cloquet salvation army.
We raised money for Carlton Country Animal Rescue and made blankets for fostered animals!
We organized and hosted the Esko Winterfest Carnival!
We shared our appreciation for our teachers by decorating the lounge!
We helped plant veggies in the school garden!
We helped transform the cafeteria into a fun space to celebrate the end of I Love to Read Month!
