A Message From Our Superintendent

Preparing for Winter Weather and School Closures

With the winter weather season just around the corner, we know that changing weather conditions can bring uncertainty and impact the daily operations of our schools. The safety and well-being of our students, staff, and families remain our highest priority when making decisions about weather-related school closures, delays, or other operational changes.   I encourage all families and staff to take a few moments to review the District's weather closing guide and video which will provide more comprehensive information about how school closures affect the various programs and services offered throughout the District. While a school closure may seem straightforward, it can have different implications for our instructional programs, student services, activities, and other District operations. These resources are intended to help clarify those impacts and provide a better understanding of the considerations involved in making closure decisions.
