Brian Wickenheiser joins Esko Public Schools as High School Principal. He and his wife Christine have resided in the Esko School District for the past 18 years, and their two children graduated from Esko. Brian began his teaching career in Roseville, Minnesota, before joining Esko ISD 99, where he dedicated 20 years to classroom instruction and leadership duties. Recently, he served as Director of Curriculum and Learning at Proctor Public Schools, leading district-wide instructional initiatives, providing instructing coaching across all building levels, and served as acting principal in all buildings. A graduate of Pelican Rapids High School, Brian holds a BS in Elementary Education from Minnesota State University Moorhead, a Master of Education in Teaching and Learning from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota, and his K–12 Principal Licensure from Minnesota State University Moorhead. He looks forward to partnering with the students, staff, and the community of Esko in continuing the school's strong tradition of excellence.
