Welcome to a new school year! School starts in Esko on Tuesday Sept. 7th. We have lots of new students to welcome, and some new staff as well. Pictured above are Ms. Johnson, 4th grade; Ms. Bailey, School nurse; Ms. Ditzler, Family and Consumer Science; Ms. Thayer, ECSE; Ms. Tessier, 6th grade and Ms. Cimermancic, Kindergarten. Not pictured is Ms. Uecker, 3rd grade.
Ms. Johnson lives in Duluth and has been a substitute in Esko for a number of years. Ms. Bailey was the nurse at the Edison Charter School and lives in Cloquet. Ms. Ditzler lives in Virginia and most recently taught in Greenway, although she lived in Alaska for 14 years prior to that. Ms. Thayer comes to us from Hermantown and lives in the Pike Lake area. Ms. Tessier student taught in 5th grade last spring, this is her first teaching position. Ms. Cimermancic is from Duluth and will be teaching the AM Kindergarten class. Ms. Uecker has substituted often in Esko. Welcome to all our new staff and students! We hope to see everyone at Open House on Thursday from 6:00 – 7:30.
