The Second Harvest Northern Lakes Food Bank provides area schools with "Backpack Kits". These kits contain nonperishable, healthy food that children can easily prepare. The Backpack Kits are distributed every Friday. The goal of the program is to provide weekend breakfast and lunch to Northland children who may need a little extra help.
